Mini festivals and trade events are certified crowd drawers. They are also good opportunities for enterprising individuals to rake in revenues by using a few marquees for sale and some skills in putting together an event.

Tip #1: Start with a theme or use a special occasion or a fundraising event to coincide with your festival. There must be an overall theme that will dictate whom you will tap to participate and on what demographics you are appealing to. Your theme and the proposed size of the event will also be your guide on how many marquee for sale to invest on.

Tip #2: Location is important. It is crucial that you have a space to hold your event in and it must be strategic. Otherwise, all your efforts may be lost. As you plan out your theme and the size of your mini festival, you also have to think about what type of venue you want. Do you want to hold your festival indoors or outdoors? If you want it outdoors, does the size of a pub field is required? The size of your venue should also tell you how many marquees or tents can you pitch.

Tip #3: Pile up the facilities you will need to make the event successful. Mini festivals usually last for many hours. If you want to take hold of your audience, you must have toilet facilities as well as food and drink facilities.

Tip #4: Delegate different tasks to various committees. Trying to do everything on your own will make you fully occupied. To set everything up, you definitely need help. For one, you need a logistics manager that will buy a marquee and take care of everything else from pitching all those tents and facilities. For another, you need someone to handle entertainment as well as promotions. Delegating tasks will help those involved to focus on what they are set to do.

Tip #5: Get ready for a happy day! When everything is set up beautifully, all that you are left to do is to savor the moment. Sit back and enjoy. If you have done things right, profits will be unfolding right before your very eyes.
